When you find a resource on AIMD that solves your problem, you don't just "download" it. You acquire it. Here is how acquisitions work.
An acquisition is a permanent transfer of access. When you acquire a prompt, workflow, or ruleset, it is instantly added to your personal Library.
Acquisitions can be free or paid. If a creator offers a resource for free, acquiring it simply links it to your account so you never lose it. If it is a paid resource, you will securely process the transaction via Razorpay, and the resource will unlock instantly.
We believe that once you pay for a resource, it is yours. AIMD does not inject DRM (Digital Rights Management) into raw prompts or workflows. You acquire the raw source text, zip archives, or integration links.
The AI landscape changes rapidly. A prompt that worked perfectly on GPT-4 may need tweaking for GPT-4.5.
When a creator updates a resource that you have acquired, you will automatically receive access to the new version in your Library. You can always view the version history and access legacy versions if you prefer them.
AIMD fully supports the open-source ethos. If a creator allows it, you can Fork their free resource. This creates a duplicate in your Library that you can modify, improve, and even re-publish (with automatic attribution back to the original creator).
